The RIBA Insurance Agency (RIBAIA) are delighted to announce that its members will be able to access an innovative online facility to find lower premiums and obtain terms for their Professional Indemnity (PI) insurance.

At the moment this facility is only available to members whose fee income does not exceed £60,000 but soon it will also be available for Practices whose fees do not exceed £1m. We will announce when this is available for those exceeding £60,000 but not greater than £1m.
Under the facility, a number of leading insurers will be able to offer terms, and members will be offered a choice with options to amend the policy excess (deductible).

Members will be allowed to select the limit they require, pay online by credit /debit card and download the policy wording.

The major advantage to members is that the whole process is made quicker, more flexible and allows members to obtain terms 24/7.

Because the whole process is transacted online, the costs to insurers are lower and the full benefit of this is passed to members by way of much lower terms.
